James P. Bradley Joins Healthy Interactions as CEO

Chicago, IL January 3rd, 2011 -- The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Jim Bradley will pilot Healthy Interactions growth and expansion as its Chief Executive Officer.

James Bradley is the Chief Executive Officer of Healthy Interactions. Healthy Interactions is a pioneer in implementing patient centric behavior change programs for a variety of health conditions, therapies and wellness.  The company’s programs and methodology are used by tens of thousands of healthcare professionals. HCPs have used Healthy Interactions programs with millions of patients, in over 100 countries.

In addition to being Healthy Interactions CEO, Mr. Bradley chairs the Board of VisionShare, a Minnesota based Health Information Technology Company, and serves on the Board of Wellpartner, based in Portland Oregon.  Wellpartner is a leader in home delivery and contract pharmacy services.  Jim recently completed an assignment in which he served as Northrop Grumman’s Program Director of their Nationwide Health Information Network initiative sponsored by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology of the US Department of Health and Human Services.
 
Mr. Bradley is the former CEO of RxHub LLC and was RxHub’s first employee.  RxHub (now Surescripts) is a healthcare technology company that has developed a nationwide electronic information exchange connecting prescribers, pharmacies and pharmacy benefit managers in order to permit the sharing of prescription and benefit information between them.

Before RxHub, Mr. Bradley was a senior executive at McKesson Corporation, the largest drug distribution and healthcare technology company in the world.  He was Chairman, CEO and founder of Abaton.com, Inc., a developer of web-based physician connectivity services and applications.  Jim was also the Chief Information Officer of United HealthCare Corporation (UNH).

Mr. Bradley’s not-for-profit Board service has included the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), which he chaired from 2002 through 2005, and the Research Foundation of the American Society of Health System Pharmacy.   He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Minnesota Medical Center – Fairview. 

Mr. Bradley has lectured on health policy and health information technology topics at Washington University, Harvard, Wharton, the University of California, the University of Hawaii, the University of Illinois, and the University of Minnesota.

Mr. Bradley received his MBA from Washington University, St. Louis, MO, and his BS and MS degrees from the University of Illinois.  His hobbies have him spending a lot of time outdoors.  His passion is flying between hobby activities and he holds an Airline Transport Pilot rating and is qualified to fly aircraft that range from small seaplanes to jets.  He is also a rated aircraft mechanic.
